The organ in Jonsered, near Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden
In the 18th century Sweden, a high point of organ building culture was reached with several skilful builders particularly in Stockholm and Linköping. Per Schiörlin (1736-1815) is the most important builder of the Linköping school. During his lifetime he built more than 60 instruments. One of his smaller and best preserved organs is now in Jonsered's church, east of Gothenburg.
