Elisabeth Boström recieved her undergraduate degree in Sweden and two advanced degrees in Germany, at the Collages od Music in Hannover and Essen. She has studied lieder interpretation with Geoffrey Parsons.Elisabeth Boström performs internationally as a solo pianist and accompanist. She works regurlarly with the Swedish baritone Håkan Hagegård. She has given concert tours in Europe, North and South America as well as in the Middle East.
In recent years she has also devoted much interest to 'crossover' activities. In collaboration with the German mezzo-soprano, henriette Meyer-Ravenstein she has so far launched two 'theatrical recitals': 'Liebst Du um Schönheit' (a performance based on songs, letters and diary exerpts by Robert & Clara Schuman, and Alma and Gustav Mahler) ans 'Kein Haus, Kein Heimat' (a portrait of Johannes Brahms).
Elisabeth Boström has performed a number of piano concertos and she si frequently heard on Scandinavian radio and television. In addition, she is well known as atacher, both coaching individual singers and giving master classes at HageGården in central Sweden.
