The instrument is delicate and subtle, but also immensely passionate. The four musicians of Guitars A Quattro thrive on this paradox. Individually they are confident, disciplined and stylistically secure. Playing together as a quartet allows them to create transparent yet powerful and often surprising interpretations of Bach as well as Piazzolla. They prefer to perform 20th century compositions because they enjoy demonstrating that contemporary music can be accessible.
