ANIARA QUARTET
Contemporary Swedish works for String Quartet and Accordion
The members of the Aniara Quartet are Tino Fjeldli and Anna Kroeker, violin, Erik Ring, viola and David Peterson, violoncell.
They founded the quartet in 1995 and have since then established themselves on the concert scene. In 2002, they were invited to a tour in China.
Their interest in contemporary music resulted in this CD, which is the debut album of the Aniara Quartet. This devotion also brought them together with accordionist Geir Draugsvoll, with whom they have collaborated closely for the last few years.
